CONTINUATION OF A REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 25-0015 (CUP25-0015) TO ESTABLISH AND OPERATE A COMMERCIAL RECREATION FACILITY (A.K.A., FUNBOX) AT 951 NORTH HARBOR BOULEVARD (ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER 017-371-28) 

CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA):


The recommended action of continuing the public hearing is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Public Resources Code section 15378(b)(5) because such continuance is an administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes to the environment.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Planning Commission approve:

A motion of the Planning Commission of the City of La Habra, California, approving a continuance of Conditional Use Permit 25-0015 (CUP25-0015) to establish and operate a commercial recreation facility (A.K.A., Funbox) at 951 North Harbor Boulevard.

DISCUSSION:

The Applicant needs additional time to prepare a Parking Impact Study to identify the parking demand for the proposed commercial recreation facility (a.k.a., Funbox). Therefore, staff is requesting this item be continued to January 26, 2026.
