| SUBJECT: | APPROVE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR VIN SCULLY CENTENNIAL PARK RESTROOM PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 1-P-25

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the Notice of Completion for Vin Scully Centennial Park Restroom Project, City Project No. 1-P-25, and authorize staff to submit the Notice of Completion for recordation.
DISCUSSION:
On March 17, 2025, the City Council awarded a construction contract to Genesis Builders, Inc., of Fullerton, California, in the amount of $1,122,000, which included a ten percent (10%) Contingency, for the construction of the Vin Scully Centennial Park Restroom Project, City Project No. 1-P-25 ("Project"). The project consisted of the installation of a standalone restroom facility at Vin Scully Centennial Park.
City Staff conducted a final inspection and confirmed that all work was completed in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and standards of the City of La Habra. Following City Council acceptance of the project, staff will file a Notice of Completion (Attachment 1) for recordation at the Orange County Clerk-Recorder's office.

FISCAL IMPACT/SOURCE OF FUNDING:
The final cost of construction for the project was $1,122,000 and are sufficient budgeted funds available to release the retention payment.
