RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Roma Damo, for bodily injury, in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
The City received a bodily injury claim filed on March 23, 2021 by an attorney on behalf of Roma Damo, a City of La Habra resident, for unspecified damages alleging a dangerous condition of public property. The claim alleges that on February 27, 2021, Ms. Damo was walking eastbound on Imperial Highway, near the post office located at 1001 W. Imperial Highway, when she tripped and fell on an uneven sidewalk and suffered injuries to her neck, both arms, and chin.
