RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the denial of the claim of Ms. Michele Hart in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Michele Hart, a City of La Habra resident, filed bodily injury claim on July 14, 2020 in the amount of $13,186.50, alleging a dangerous condition of public property. The claim alleges that on January 21, 2020, Ms. Hart was walking along the sidewalk on South Walnut Street when she tripped and fell on uneven pavement. She claims to have suffered damage to her front teeth requiring extensive dental repairs.
