RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Marie Alvarez in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On June 27, 2022, Ms. Marie Alvarez, a City of Cypress resident, filed a claim against the City in the amount of $3,000. The claimant alleges that a diamond necklace that belonged to her was given to another inmate. This claim has been tendered to Allied Universal/G4S Secure Solutions for resolution.
