APPROVE DENIAL OF LIABILITY CLAIM OF MS. HALEY SIMS

RECOMMENDATION:


That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Haley Sims in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.

DISCUSSION:

On July 31, 2022, an attorney representing Ms. Haley Sims filed an amended property damage and a bodily injury claim in the amount of $27,082.37. The claim alleges that Ms. Sims was involved in a traffic collision with a La Habra Police patrol vehicle.
