RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. George Maldonado in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. George Maldonado, a City of Walnut resident, filed a claim against the City on March 27, 2023, for an unspecified amount. The claim alleges that on February 28, 2023, the claimant’s vehicle was towed and the keys to the vehicle were misplaced. This claim has been tendered to jail service contractor, Allied Universal/G4S Secure Solutions, for resolution.
