RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Christopher Droulias in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Droulias, a City of La Habra resident, filed a property damage claim on July 11, 2023, in the amount of $2,266.39 for reimbursement to repair damages to his vehicle. Mr. Droulias alleges that on July 11, 2023, while parked on Highland Court, a City-owned tree branch fell on his vehicle causing damage to the roof, trunk, and rear end of his vehicle.
