RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Philip Ognibene in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On November 27, 2023, Attorney Derek C. Holland filed a bodily injury claim on behalf of Mr. Philip Ognibene, a City of La Habra resident, for an unspecified amount. The claim alleges that on June 7, 2023, Mr. Ognibene tripped and fell over an unmarked wheelchair ramp outside Walgreens located on Imperial Highway.
