RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Suzanne Craig in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Suzanne Craig, a City of Whittier resident, filed a property damage claim on February 6, 2024, in the amount of $742.73 for reimbursement to replace a tire and repair a rim. Ms. Craig alleges that on January 27, 2024, she was traveling on Imperial Highway, at the intersection of Cajon Drive, when she drove over a pothole causing damage to the right front tire and rim on her vehicle.
