RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Helen Hahn-Lee in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Helen Hahn-Lee, a City of La Mirada resident, filed a property damage claim on April 9, 2024, in the amount of $2,074.98 for damages to the claimant's rental property located in the City of La Habra. The claim alleges that, on February 29, 2024, officers from the La Habra Police Department caused the damage while serving a search warrant.
