RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On December 26, 2024, Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez filed a claim against the City for wrongful termination. Mr. Rodriguez alleges that on June 27, 2024, he was wrongfully terminated without cause and the City violated the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act.
