RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Mr. Harim Kwon in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On November 12, 2024, Mr. Harim Kwon, a La Habra resident, filed a claim in the amount of $6,750 for alleged unlawful towing of his vehicle. The claimant alleges that on May 19, 2024, his vehicle was towed by the La Habra Police Department on two occasions within 24 hours.
FISCAL IMPACT/SOURCE OF FUNDING:
None.
