RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Vanessa Espinoza in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On February 5, 2025, Ms. Vanessa Espinoza filed a claim for damages against the City for wrongful termination. Ms. Espinoza alleges that on August 7, 2024, she was wrongfully terminated without cause and the City violated various policies and laws.
