RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Francia Florez-Zea in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms.Francia Florez-Zea, a City of La Habra resident, retained an attorney who filed a bodily injury claim against the City on August 11, 2025, in the amount of $400,000. The claim alleges that on February 21, 2025, at 2:00 a.m., the claimant was walking on Elmsford Avenue when she fell into a depressed water meter box and sustained injuries.

None.
