RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the claim of State Farm Insurance be denied in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
On June 15, 2020, State Farm Insurance filed a property damage claim on behalf of their insured, Ms. Michelle Allec, in the amount of $1,134.14 for damages to Ms. Allec’s vehicle. The claim alleges that on March 14, 2020 their insured’s vehicle was parked in front of 1920 Francis Avenue in La Habra when a City-owned tree branch fell on the vehicle causing damage.
