RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Audrey Cadwell-Koch in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Audrey Cadwell-Koch, a City of La Habra resident, filed a claim against the City on July 28, 2025, for an unspecified amount. The claim alleges that on July 23, 2025, at 11:50 a.m., the claimant was walking westbound on the north side of Whittier Boulevard, when she rolled her ankle on an uneven sidewalk, sustaining an injury to her right ankle.
