That the City Council:
A.  Approve to accept the offer of a dedication of an additional right-of-way at 618 East Sterns Avenue; and

B.  Approve and authorize the recordation of the Grant Deed with the County of Orange.

The owner of the single-family residential property at 618 East Stearns Avenue is making upgrades to the property, including the addition of an accessory dwelling unit, demolition of the existing garage, and construction of a new garage. The project will require the dedication of right-of-way along East Stearns Avenue and the adjacent alley to the City of La Habra. The dedication will convey to the City an additional five feet of right-of-way along East Stearns Avenue and two and one-half feet along the adjacent alley, which is south of the property.

The cost to maintain the improvements, once dedicated to the City, will be minimal as they are mostly concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, and a concrete drive approach which have a service life of 50 to 75 years.
