RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council deny the claim of Ms. Cheryl Garnier in order to set a definite six-month Statute of Limitations date.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Cheryl Garnier filed a bodily injury claim on February 23, 2021, in the amount of $90 and pending additional treatment bills, alleging a dangerous condition of public property. The claim alleges that on November 29, 2020, Ms. Garnier was walking on North College Street when she tripped and fell on an uneven pavement of the sidewalk in front of 321 North College Street causing her to sustain a fractured wrist.
