AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION OR LEGISLATION TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SAFETY/SERVICE DIRECTOR TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($75,000.00) FOR THE SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK 'HARVEST FOR HUNGER' PROGRAM FROM BRILLIANT SOURCE CARES.
PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND
City of Lorain has received a generous donation from Brilliant Source Energy, through its Brilliant Source Cares program, to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank's 'Harvest For Hunger' program. The $75,000.00 donation will be dispensed in the amount of $15,000.00 per year for a term of 5 years.
RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL:
We recommend Council consider passage of this ordinance.
