AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION OR LEGISLATION TITLE:
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SAFETY/SERVICE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE HIGHEST RATED AND RANKED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING FIRM FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOR-MR4321-0.00 TOWER BLVD. REHABILITATION PROJECT.
PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND:
The City of Lorain has advertised request for qualification as required by the Ohio Revised Code section 153.67. The firms have been properly rated and ranked. The City of Lorain is responsible for 100% of the project administration costs. The professional agreement which is the subject of this ordinance will be prepared by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) upon its receipt of an ordinance approved by Lorain City Council authorizing the Director of Public Safety/Service to enter into the agreement.
