AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY/SERVICE OF THE CITY OF LORAIN, OHIO TO PURCHASE SODIUM CHLORIDE DIRECTLY FROM THE VENDOR AWARDED THE 2026-2027 ODOT SODIUM CHLORIDE SUMMER/WINTER CONTRACT #018-27 FOR LORAIN COUNTY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND:
This is necessary for snow and ice control on roadways.
RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL:
We recommend Council consider passage of this ordinance.
