AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION OR LEGISLATION TITLE:
Ordinance request to accept a grant from the National Rifle Association (NRA).
PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND:
The City of Lorain, Lorain Police Department has been awarded a grant from the NRA foundation in the amount of $5,126.00. The award consists of a Monetary award of $2,262.00 and Merchandise award of $2,864.00. The monetary award will be utilized to purchase moving-turning range targets for the Lorain Police and the merchandise award consists of hearing protection and tactical medical bags.
