Correspondence from Mayor Bradley to Members of Council sharing the 2025 accomplishments and the 2026 goals of each department in the City of Lorain.

a.
Correspondence received from Treasurer Soto recommending the appointment of Julia Ecker and Dana Olszowy to serve as members of the Board of Review and the Mayor to consider appointing Michele Pullin as his appointment per O.R.C. Chapter 718 and Lorain Codified Ordinance 192.18.
b.
Law Director Riley's Correspondence received from the Ohio Supreme Court of Ohio relative to the Court of Appeals Case #s 24CA012095 & 24CA012142- "Tia Hilton, et al. V. City of Lorain, et al."

Correspondence received from the Ohio Division of Liquor Control advising of a New C1 permit application received for Nothing But Growth LLC, Green Store, located at 912 West 9th St, 44052 (2nd Ward).

LEGISLATION -  FIRST READING:
a.
____ Reso. enacting the Rules of Council from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, repealing Resolution 1-24.
b.
____  Reso. declaring it necessary to levy a renewal of the 1.7 mil Property Tax to supplement the General Fund for the purpose of providing and maintaining adequate and consistent fire service, apparatus, building or sites.
c.
____ Ord. auth the S/S Director to make application to ODOT for 90/10 funding for planned safety improvements on Broadway. 
d.
____ Ord. auth the S/S Director to enter into a contract for the purchase of materials and supplies- concrete for the city of Lorain from Terminal Ready Mix.
e.
____ Ord. auth the S/S Director to enter into a contract for the purchase of materials and supplies- asphalt concrete for the City of Lorain from Kokosing, Inc.
f.
____ Ord. auth the Auditor to pay invoices submitted by the IT Department that invoke the Then and Now Certification Process, per ORC, and to pay for said invoices.
