Resolution indicating the City of Mankato's "Intent to Cost Participate" in costs for certain improvements on Trunk Highway 169 in conjunction with State Project (SP) 5212-42.

Adoption of the attached resolution.

As was reviewed during the Work Session on December 2, 2024, the improvements for the Highway 169 Corridor continue to move forward for the 2027/2028 project years. At this time, MnDOT needs the City to consider a resolution of its intent to participate in cost sharing, in accordance with the MnDOT Cost Sharing policy for the roadway. The resolution also indicates the City’s support for the proposed layout, which includes the closure of West Lind Street and reconstruction of a new roundabout at North River Lane.
 
Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
