Motion approving renewal of Consumption and Display (Bottleclub) Permit for Mankato Curling Club, 600 Hope Street.

Motion approving renewal application.
Summary:
A renewal application has been submitted by the Mankato Curling Club for a Consumption and Display Permit (Bottleclub). Such a permit is issued by the MN Department of Public Safety (Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division-AGED), and authorizes the establishment to permit the consumption and display of intoxicating liquor on the premises but does not authorize the "sale" of intoxicating liquor.
Property taxes are current, and a background investigation of all persons and premises names in the application reveals nothing that would preclude issuance of this license. A license fee of $300 will be set for deposit into the city's general fund.
