Motion approving on-sale intoxicating liquor license (Class R), and Sunday liquor for HGI of Mankato LLC (Hilton Garden Inn), DBA Olives, 20 Civic Center Plaza.

Summary:
An application has been submitted by HGI of Mankato LLC as owner of Hilton Garden Inn, DBA Olives, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Mankato for an on-sale intoxicating, and Sunday liquor license. Taxes are current for the premises. A liquor license-holder agreement has been negotiated between the applicant and the Department of Public Safety. A background investigation of all persons and premises names in the application reveals nothing that would preclude issuance of the licenses.
The premise will assume a Class R license as they have established, through twelve months of operation, a ratio of revenues derived from the sales of food and liquor. Under such a license, there is a 40% food requirement.
A license fee of $1,575 for the investigation fee and prorated intoxicating and Sunday licenses will be set for deposit into the city's general fund.
