Motion approving application for an On-sale Intoxicating, Sunday, and optional 2 a.m. Liquor and Non-Enclosed Premise (Patio) Licenses, for Zesty Ventures LLC, DBA JD's Hideaway, 12 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 1710 (change in ownership).

Motion approving application (contingent upon submittal of insurance, Department of Health Food License and a negotiated Liquor License Agreement with the Department of Public Safety).
Summary:
An application has been submitted by Willis Stout, owner of Zesty Ventures LLC, DBA JD's Hideaway, 12 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 1710, for an on-sale intoxicating, Sunday, optional 2 a.m. liquor licenses, and non-enclosed premise license (patio). This action represents a change in ownership of the business.
Taxes are current for this premise. The owner is in the process of securing insurance and a copy of the Department of Health Food License, and a liquor-license holder agreement needs to be negotiated between the applicant and the Department of Public Safety. These three things are contingent on the issuance of the license(s).
A background investigation of all persons and premises named in the application reveals nothing that would preclude the issuance of the licenses.
License fees of $7,115 and an investigation fee of $500 will be set for deposit into the city's general fund.
