Resolution considering bids on Capital Improvement Projects 11131; 2025 Resurfacing, Miscellaneous Sidewalks, Alley Improvements and 11125; 2025 Petition Alley Improvement.

Adoption of attached resolution.
Summary:
On July 2, 2025, bids were opened on Capital Improvement Projects 11131 and 11125. Three bids were received, with the low bid submitted by W W Blacktopping, Inc. of $723,002.10. The Engineer’s estimate for the project was $938,511.
Staff recommend awarding the construction contract for Capital Improvement Projects 11131 and 11125 to W W Blacktopping, Inc. The contract has a final completion date of November 14, 2025, and construction is anticipated to start in August.
Staff and representatives of the contractor will meet with the property owners prior to construction to explain the work schedule, access to homes and businesses during construction, mail delivery, garbage collection, and other miscellaneous items of interest to the residents.
