Set September 8, 2025, as the date of the public hearing to review the rezoning of the subject property from Agriculture Transition to M-1, Light Industrial; Final Plat review of The Station Subdivision; a Planned Unit Development to allow the development and operation of commercial condos; for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a display area and retail sales in a warehouse space; and for the annexation of said parcel (R430903200005); by request of AJK Mankato Holdings LLC.

At the July 23, 2025, meeting, the Planning Commission recommended approval of setting September 8, 2025, as the date of public hearing to review the rezoning request and associated actions.

AJK Mankato Holdings, LLC is requesting to set the date of hearing for a rezoning of property from Agriculture/Transition to M-1, Light Industrial; a Planned Unit Development to allow for commercial condo development with shared access and utilities; a final plat review of “The Station,” a 13.39-acre commercial subdivision s; a Conditional Use Permit to allow retail and display within a warehouse space; and annexation of the subject property. The development includes 66 commercial condo units, a warehouse, office, and showroom for Rickway Carpet, and supporting infrastructure.

At the Planning Commission meeting, discussion was held regarding the access and road network. Staff are coordinating a meeting with the interested parties to address access.
