Summary:
The property owner, Habib Sadaka, at 830 North Broad is seeking a license to encroach to utilize a portion of the Madison Avenue right-of-way to allow for the installation of landscaping.
The redevelopment of the site included the demolition of a substandard building and the construction of a new building. Due to the constraints of the site, the Council previously approved a variance to reduce the front yard setback (Madison Avenue) from 15 feet to 0.92 feet.
The applicant is seeking to install and maintain landscaping in the boulevard. A Certificate of Insurance has been submitted with the application. The request was reviewed by the Site Plan Review Committee and recommended approval of the License to Encroach.
