10706 – Lake Street Pump Station – Change Order 2
10706 – Lake Street Pump Station – Change Order 3
10706 – Lake Street Pump Station – Change Order 2
- The Engineer determined that gate structure #2 required extensive modification in order to work properly and not negatively impact the roadway on which it was situated. The contractor was required to remove and replace a portion of the manhole in order to facilitate the change in manhole dimension. The contractor was required to send the mechanical gate back to the supplier for modifications. These included a revision to allow it to fit the new dimensions of the structure as well as a change to allow the gate to open fully.
10706 – Lake Street Pump Station – Change Order 3
- The Construction Services department has determined the main service door into the pump station is in need of improvement. Upon inspection by Construction staff, it was determined that the door is in disrepair due to corrosion and the general overall condition of the door. The scope of this change includes replacement of the frame, door slab, city-specified lockset, preparation for key card access, and an electronic strike. The Contractor has requested an extension on the final completion date to complete final site grading and turf establishment. Due to weather conditions in the fall of 2025, final grading and turf establishment were unable to be completed. The original date of final completion was December 30, 2025, and the extension date requested is June 1, 2026, to ensure adequate grading and turf establishment conditions.
