Report on project and Change Order 5 for Capital Improvement Project 11131; 2025 Resurfacing (Adams Street).

In accordance with Section 2-8 of the Mankato City Code, the City Manager is to report as soon as practicable on change orders approved under $100,000.
 
11131 – 2025 Resurfacing (Adams Street) – Change Order 5

• The Contractor has requested a time extension on the final completion date in order to ensure adequate turf establishment. Due to cold weather in the fall of 2025, turf was not fully established. Although germination was noted, final acceptance will require observation of adequate turf coverage in the spring of 2026. The original final completion date was December 19, 2025, and the extension date requested for final completion is May 15, 2026, to ensure adequate weather for acceptable turf establishment.
