Ordinance amending Mankato City Code Chapter 2, Sec. 2-36 related to the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached ordinance.
Summary:
Due to the specialized requirements of the board, including training, it has been somewhat difficult to fill vacancies. Also, the Council does not determine the chair or vice chair, and there is only one alternate member that can be appointed. With this, it is requested that the ordinance be amended accordingly.
