Resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept a donation from the Friends and Family of the Mankato Police Explorer Unit Program Post #243.

Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
The Mankato Department of Public Safety was presented with donations totaling the amount of $6,636 from the Friends and Family of the Mankato Police Explorer’s Unit. The donations were collected during the Pasta Feed sponsored by the Friends and Family of the Mankato Police Explorers Unit on March 26, 2026. The donations were provided to the Mankato Department of Public Safety with the direction of the money to be used to offset expenses incurred during Mankato Police Explorer Unit training and annual conference attendance. The donation shall be placed in the Mankato Public Safety Operating Budget to be used for Mankato Police Explorer Unit expenses.
