Resolution approving the Final Plat review of Ironwood Estates No. 2 (1004 and 1008 Applewood Court); by request of Bolton and Menk.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution. At the August 26, 2026, meeting, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the final plat.
Summary:
The applicant is requesting a preliminary and final plat review of Ironwood Estates No. 2. Previously, the lots were platted as part of Ironwood Estates. Following the plat, the lots had been split through the administrative lot split process. Therefore, a plat is required to adjust property lines.
The plat is being adjusted to reflect a relocated property line between Lots 1 and 2, which are addressed as 1004 and 1008 Applewood Court. The adjustment makes Lot 1 approximately 5,998 square feet larger for a total of 56,608 and decreases Lot 2 to 46,205 square feet. Both lots still comply with the required lot size for single-family homes according to Mankato City Code Chapter 10.
