Resolution considering bids on Capital Improvement Project 11280; Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Biosolids Hauling and Land Application.

Summary:
On September 18, 2026, bids were opened for the WRRF Biosolids Hauling and Land Application project. Two bids were received, with the low bid submitted by Malecha Spreading of $298,840.00. The Engineer’s Estimate for the project was $291,000.00.
Staff recommend awarding the contract for the WRRF Biosolids Hauling and Land Application project to Malecha Spreading. The low bid is within the project budget and the funding above the engineer’s estimate will be provided from the project's 10% contingency. The contract is expected to commence as soon as next month and has a final completion date by the end of this year.
