Summary:
This is a summary of the public engagement for an additional F.A. Buscher Park play equipment feature. Engagement was targeted at City of Mankato community members who live around the Buscher Park area/ visited the park often. Input was gathered through an online survey and an in-person open house where residents could place their vote.
Project Background
F.A. Buscher Park's playground equipment is set to be replaced in 2024, and City staff discovered there was space for an additional feature. Two play features were recommended for the park- a sand volleyball court or a swing set. Staff presented the options to community members around the Buscher Park area to gather their input on what feature would be preferred for the park.
