Resolution authorizing an application for a Walmart Store Grant to fund the "Shop With A Hero" event.

Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
Public Safety is once again looking to host the "Shop With A Hero" event at the Mankato Walmart store in December. This event connects local first responders with underserved youth in the community for a morning of shopping and positive interactions. The event is funded through gift cards purchased with grants funds donated by Walmart. Public Safety will be seeking $3000 in grant funds for this year's event.
