Motion approving application for Consumption and Display (Bottleclub) Permit for Mankato Lodge #12 A.F. & A.M., 309 South 2nd Street, Mankato.

Summary:
An application has been submitted by Michael Krediet on behalf of Mankato Lodge #12 Anicient Free and Accepted Masons of Minnesota (A.F. & A.M.), for a Consumption and Display Permit. Such a permit, issued by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division), authorizes an eligible establishment to permit the consumption and display of intoxicating liquor on the premises. Mankato Lodge #12 A.F. & A.M. intends to use this for private club use only and not for members of the general public who may rent this space. This permit does not authorize the sale of intoxicating liquor.
Property taxes are current; a background investigation of all persons and premises named in the application reveals nothing that would preclude issuance of this license. A license fee of $300 will be set for deposit in the city's general fund.
