Set April 28, 2025, as the date of public hearing relating to a Vehicle Noise Ordinance.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Motion setting April 28, 2025, as the date of public hearing.
Summary:
The Council previously directed staff to draft language updating the City's Vehicle Noise Ordinance to include engine-retarding braking regulations. The draft ordinance provides regulation of that activity and simplifies the City's Code regarding Vehicle Noise. As required, we will have a public hearing to consider the language. Following the public hearing, the required posting of the ordinance will take place before the ordinance is effective.
