Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an operator’s agreement with the Mankato Family YMCA for the operation of Tourtellotte Pool.

Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
Last summer, the Mankato Family YMCA operated the Tourtellotte Pool for a shortened season due to construction. 2024 was the first season that the pool operated following the extensive renovations made that began in 2022. The 2024 season was a great success, with 11,000 guests utilizing the facility in a 7-week period.
With the updated agreement, staff and the YMCA officials worked together to determine an updated schedule and programs. The agreement was re-discussed, and only minor changes were made based on information learned from the previous season, including details related to secure access to the space and updated requirements related to communicating staffing needs to the City.
Staff recommends adoption of the attached resolution.
