Lot 1, Block 1 contains an area that is approximately 280' X 888' totaling approximately 5.7 acres. The platted area is rectangular and contains a pan-handle-shaped projection along the already dedicated Bassett Drive. The pan-handle segment is proposed as an outlot as was requested by the City for potential future access purposes.
With development of the subject parcel, Bassett Drive will be extended to the easterly line of the subdivision. The concept plans submitted with the application show a new, approximately 34,200 square foot structure identified as the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, located centrally on the lot.
