Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the grant application for the Mighty Ducks grant for All Seasons Arena.

Adoption of the attached resolution
Summary:
Staff were notified by the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission that an updated resolution is needed for the approved Mighty Ducks grant for the All Seasons Arena Renovation. Due to the grant being awarded in a previous state budget, the funds are required to be encumbered at the state level for disbursement at the close of the project late this year. Minnesota Management and Budget staff are requesting the updated language in order to process the encumbrance request from the Sports Commission.
As the council may recall, the operator of the facility, the City of Mankato, acts as the fiscal agent for All Seasons Arena and is therefore the grant recipient. The project was awarded an initial grant in the amount of $166,367 with additional funds awarded in the amount of $41,588 for a total grant award of $207,955. The updated resolution language being requested by the state specifically calls out the account from which the local funding is coming from and the amount of the final grant.
