Review of 2026 Preliminary Budget and Levy

Summary:
For the last several months, staff have been working on their preliminary budgets for 2026. On Friday afternoon, you will receive a copy of the Proposed 2026 Operating Budget and five-year Capital Investment Plan. During the work session, an overview presentation of the 2026 budget will be provided in preparation for setting the preliminary tax levy on September 8, 2025. The preliminary draft reflects a 4.7% levy increase. Presentation to be provided at the work session.
