Discuss Vetter Stone Amphitheater Capital Improvements

Summary:
The feedback gathered from the July 28th City Council meeting included additional information on increased storage options to house all items needed at the park, including all chair racks necessary to host the large shows throughout the summer. Staff also committed to reviewing if adding bench seating along the top of the seating bowl would provide operational cost savings in labor for the reduction in chairs set while allowing for a smaller building footprint and reduced capital investment.
The second item staff were asked to review was a back-of-house solution for performers, as this is a common complaint received from acts that come to our venue. Staff reviewed both permanent and temporary structures for cost feasibility and will present those anticipated costs.
Finally, the preliminary master plan assembled by LSE Architects will be presented to show the vision for a full build out of the park. The plan also provides staff with a guide for the first phase of improvements and further improvements as funding becomes available.
