Update on Parking Control Equipment Replacement project

Summary:
The parking control equipment replacement project continues to progress towards completion. Staff participate in a weekly update call with our system provider, with additional training and project meetings taking place every 3–4 days on average.
The pay stations were recently installed in the ramp stairwells and city staff are currently working with T2 Systems to customize the back end portal for our customer permits. There has been a delay with the mobile LPR camera system, with the most recent update that installation will take place on the city-provided vehicle in mid to late October.
Finally, Public Information staff are working on developing an educational campaign and signage to assist the public with the transition. Due to the delay in the mobile LPR system, the anticipated go live date will be in November.
