Resolution designating Precincts and Polling locations within the City of Mankato.
Recommendation/Action(s):
Adoption of the attached resolution.
Summary:
Minnesota Statute 204B.16, Subd. 1 requires municipalities to designate by ordinance or resolution any changes to polling place locations or precincts, with designations being made by December 31 of each year for the following calendar year and beyond unless changed pursuant to statute.
Attached is a list of the precincts and polling place locations for the year 2026 and beyond, unless changes are made: due to an emergency pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.175; or because a polling place location has become unavailable; or by a new resolution passed prior to December 31 or any year.
