Construction Services staff are recommending additional 30 MPH signs along Augusta Drive between North Riverfront Drive and Trunk Highway 22. The R2-1 (30 MPH) signs shown below would be added to new sign supports at three locations. The recommendation comes after receiving concerns of speeding along Augusta. Staff’s review confirmed that Augusta is posted appropriately at 30 MPH, however, additional signage could provide benefits by informing drivers of the regulatory speed limit at the strategic locations.
