Motion approving 2026 allocations.
Summary:
The Special Event Support Grant was established to assist community not-for-profit organizations initiate and develop events with the intent of providing funding that will help create strong, healthy events, and help with the maintenance of traditional events. For 2026, four grant applications were submitted and reviewed by a grant panel consisting of Council and staff representatives. The grant panel recommended a funding level of $6,700 (budgeted $7,500). Attached is a matrix of the requests.
